Learning unlocked

Learning Unlocked  is Community Court Yard’s alternative education and intervention programme, shaped around the young person, delivered at The Yard. It supports young people who may be:

  • Preparing for the transition from primary to secondary school
  • Reluctant or disengaged learners
  • Experiencing crisis or vulnerability
  • At risk of suspension or permanent exclusion

Our relational framework Trust, Tackle, Transform recognises that positive learning begins with a trusted relationship. We first create a safe space where each young person feels heard and valued.

Together, we then tackle the barriers affecting their learning and help them transform their confidence, aspirations and relationship with education.

Learning Unlocked uses gaming, crafting, storytelling and digital creativity to reconnect young people with learning in ways that feel relevant and achievable.

Literacy, numeracy and digital skills are woven throughout the programme, enabling young people to make progress while exploring their interests and recognising their strengths.

Delivered by qualified youth-work and education professionals, each bespoke programme is available through one-to-one or small-group provision.

We work at the young person’s pace while providing clear goals, consistent support and opportunities to experience success.

Reconnect with learning. Recognise your strengths. Reach the next level.
