Creative Counselling uses the arts as a tool with talking therapy.
It is proactive in its approach allowing the client the opportunity to express their emotions creatively in order to manage their mental health and wellbeing.
The sessions offer a space where traditional counselling skills of talking and exploration of issues are combined with the opportunity to develop practical skills that can be taken home to support positive self-care and wellbeing.
Sessions are for young people aged 12+
No previous skills in art are needed and materials are provided for each session.
All staff are DBS checked and are qualified, mental health practitioners.
